Monthly Archives: February 2008

This morning we were driving near McDonald’s and somehow got to talking about how we’ve both only ever eaten a McD’s Big Breakfast a handful of times in our lives. So, since it’s leap day and I thought we should have some sort of silly leap day tradition, we stopped and both ordered a Big Breakfast to start our new leap day tradition.

Happy Leap Day! :p

Meet Dolphin. He’s turning four. Pete bought him for me when we were living in separate countries and I will definitely keep Dolphin (and Pete) forever.

Today was nothing exciting. Took a picture of a flower in the Tesco car park when we went to pick up some groceries.

Keaira came in tonight to warm up. Our last gas bill was enormous so we’ve been using an electric heater more than the central heating lately. Keaira has abandoned her usual spot under one of the radiators and likes to lay in front of this heater instead.

Took a picture of Pete while he was driving us home from work. He makes me happy. =)

Starlings hunting for food in Gretna.

People have been gathering every night to watch the starlings at dusk. We have a large group of the birds that gather over the field by our front garden but only about a third of the number you see here.

Here is an article about the birds from the BBC.

I’m full of cold and taking Lemsip Max. I hate being sick.

My new boots! I love them!

I love my kitty!
